Fellows should be Graduate students in the College of Engineering or College of Math and Physical Sciences. Only U.S. citizens should apply. As a Fellow, each person must commit to 6-8 hours per week in the classroom. You must have your own transportation. It is mandatory to attend the summer workshop, scheduled for June 17th-19th, 2008 . Each Fellow is rewarded a fellowship for their participation. We are seeking 3rd - 5th grades teachers from Columbus Public Schools. As a GK-12 participant, each teacher must have science class multiple times a week so that each Fellow meets their 6-8 hours requirement. This 10 hour requirement includes both science lessons and lesson planning. A GK-12 teacher must collaborate with a Fellow to develop and teach science lessons. It is mandatory for each GK-12 teacher to attend the summer workshop, scheduled for June 17th-19th, 2008. Each teacher is rewarded a stipend for their participation.
