*The annual meeting for GK-12 programs will be held on March 24th-26, 2006in Washington, D.C. Jeremy White, a current Fellow, and Joan Johnson, a 4th grade teacher from Douglas Elementary, will represent Ohio State's GK-12 Program. Susan Olesik, the GK-12 Director, and Mary Allison Timby, GK-12 Program Coordinator, will also attend. More information about the conference can be found at http://ehrweb.aaas.org/gk12/.

*The GK-12 program held its second Professional Development workshop on Wednesday, February 8th, 2006. In attendance were GK-12 teachers, Fellows, and the program's Principal Investiagtors. This workshop was held on Ohio State's campus from 8:30 am until 3:30 pm. Click here to get more information about the workshop's events.

*The required focus meeting for GK-12 teachers and fellows will be held on Saturday, January 7th, 2006 from 9 am until 3 pm. The meeting will give the teacher/fellow team an opportunity to share their progress in the classrooms. Please mark the date in your calenders!

*February 15, 2005 The Ohio State University GK-12 program received confirmation of funding for Track 2 continuation for five years.

*March 4-6, 2005 We attended the GK-12 National Conference in Arlington, VA.

*April 22, 2005 Applications are due for fellows and teachers interested in participating during the 2005-2006 academic year. Applications can be submitted through this website.

*June 20-22, 2005 The GK-12 Summer Workshop for fellows and teachers will be conducted on campus.

*July 2005, OSU will host a Regional Meeting for all GK-12 programs in the mid-west to gather and learn from each other.
